Flick Windell Taylor, 65, of Nashville, died Sunday June 17, 2012 at the Georgia Health Science University in Augusta.

He was born February 11, 1947 in Berrien County to the late Jerry Windell Taylor and Stella Laurene Nelms. He was a retired educator with the Coffee County Board of Education and a member of the Flat Creek Church. He was an Air Force Veteran and served in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife: Toni Brown Taylor of Nashville; 3 daughters: April (Chris) Simmons of Nashville, Shanna (Jerry) Barfield of Nashville, and Wendee Ackerman of Riverside, CA; mother: Laurene Taylor of Nashville; sister: Valiree (Ronny) Lightsey of Lake Park; brother: Billy Taylor of Valdosta; 8 grandchildren: Dakota, Camryn, Indiana, Cannon, Gracie Leigh, Savannah, Addie, and Tucker.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 20, 2012 at 11 AM in the Flat Creek Church with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
