Janice Louise Hopper, 61, of Ray City, died Sunday June 17, 2012 in the Langdale hospice House.

She was born August 5, 1950 in Berrien County to the late Floy Felton Taylor and the late Louise Nix. She was a homemaker and served as a Pink Lady Volunteer at the Berrien Nursing Center. She was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Larry Felton Taylor and Robert Dale Taylor.

She is survived by her husband: William Hopper of Ray City; daughter: Dorsi Simmons of Ray City; great granddaughter: Aubrey Harper; great grandson: Justin Harper; 2 nephews: Benjamin Kerr Richards and Zachary James Taylor; 2 aunts: Edna Mae Taylor and Alma Lewis, and many cousins.

Her family will honor her request for cremation and a memorial service will be held Thursday June 21, 2012 at 11 AM in the Nashville First Baptist Church. Her ashes will be buried in the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
